In conjunction with the LVTC (Latrobe Valley Triathlon Club) this summer we will be holding the Revolution Aquathlon series - summer splash & dash. 

Location: Traralgon Outdoor Pool 

Day: Wednesday nights

Time: arrive before 7pm / race briefing at 7:15 for a 7:20 race start 

Registation: Entries will be on the day from 7pm around the club rooms on the grass west side of the pool

Distances: There are 2 Distances
Fun: 200m Swim (4 laps) & 2km Run (1 lap)
Sprint: 400m Swim (8 laps) & 4km Run (2 laps) 


There is also Kids Races prior to the start of the mains 2 races.

Cost: Pool entry Adult=$4.50(Casual entry) + $5 to the LVTC
         If you hold a current Latrobe Leisure Aquatic membership, pool entry is FREE
       

Start: The swim for both races will start from the shallow end in the water, NO DIVING PERMITTED

RULES: Swim:- Wetsuits are allowed (if you can be bothered putting it on and taking it off)
                         NO flippers / Fins
                         be mindful and watch for other swimmers
              Run:-  Must wear Shoes (NO shoes = NO run)
                         Chest must be covered
                         Obey road rules & give way to cars (if there is a car coming YOU MUST give way,                             
                         i
f you are seen running in front of cars you get a RED CARD = Disqualified 
                        
You are not to cut corners or take short cuts

Race Dates:
 

Every Wednesday night until the outdoor pool closes at the end of the summer season.



Run Course: you will exit the blue gate west of the club rooms, onto the foot path head south to seymour st staying on the foot path take a RIGHT (west) run to the end of the path turn RIGHT stay on the grass running north all the way to Kay st. (watching for CARS) {cross when safe to do so}. Turn LEFT head (west) up the hill pass Loch park rd again {cross when safe to do so} proceed up until the next road in which you will turn around head back (east) all the way down to Breed St for a turn around point, head (west) back to the mabel street cross
{cross when safe to do so} back onto the grass and make your way to the finish line.

Those doing the 4km run, you will continue past the finish line for 1 more lap
